About Healthcare Hospitality Network
The national membership association for healthcare hospitality houses, connecting organizations across North America through education, resources, and community.
To support healthcare hospitality houses through connection, education, and advocacy, so they can be more effective in their service to patients and caregivers.
Healthcare Hospitality Network is the only professional membership association in North America with a specific focus on healthcare hospitality housing. Founded in the early 1980s and incorporated in 1986, HHN has spent four decades building the infrastructure, relationships, and resources that hospitality houses need to do their work well.
Our members run organizations that provide lodging and support to patients and families traveling away from home for medical care. They operate with small teams, big hearts, and a mission that doesn't pause. HHN exists to make sure they don't have to figure it out alone.
The work is unique. So is the community that understands it.
Hospitality house staff and leaders work in a space that sits at the intersection of healthcare, hospitality, and nonprofit management. It's a specific combination that most professional networks don't address.
HHN brings together the people doing this work across the country, creating space to share challenges, celebrate wins, and learn from one another. Whether through webinars, virtual events, or the national conference, connection is at the center of everything we do.

HHN members have access to a growing library of resources developed specifically for hospitality houses, including templates, guides, national surveys, and operational tools that would take years to develop independently.
The Certified Hospitality House credentialing program gives member organizations a formal pathway to demonstrate their commitment to best practices and ongoing staff development, supported by a learning management system with over 1,600 courses built specifically for this industry.
